PostHeaderIcon Getting Rid of Your Clutter

After finding out the area which needs much of your attention, take several trash bags or large boxes with you into the area and it’s time to start the process of clearing. Empty out closets, cupboards, drawers, shelves, and boxes and place them according to their category into several piles. This helps in separating the bauble as some may be useful and some may not. In this process if you may be unaware of some items’ usage, you may come across a dilemma of whether to discard them or not.

In such circumstances, my suggestion to you is to store them in your attic for one year. For this period of time, if you haven’t missed them at all, then undoubtedly you can throw them away. Some items may be valuable to others and you may not feel as such. Then it’s better to sell or donate them to the needed. You have to approach a consignment store for selling and a charitable organization in your locality for donating.

Organizing a yard sale: There is a chance for you to make some bucks while getting rid of your unwanted stuffs by employing a yard sale. But before getting into this project you have to think a lot about it and plan accordingly. The idea of a yard sale holds good as you can be able to sell your unwanted furniture, ornaments, wardrobe, electronic and sports equipments etc. But don’t forget that you can receive only a fraction of money of the original price for the sold goods. People who attend yard sales will probably look for bargains and hence they keep on negotiating for the lowest possible price.
